Hazardous Waste Removal

On 16th July 2005 new Hazardous Waste Regulations came into effect. Every company in the UK with the exception of Scotland must follow the new regulations.

Everyday items such as laser toner cartridges, ink jet cartridges, aerosols, paint tins, batteries, fluorescent tubes etc. are all classed as hazardous waste and can not be placed in the normal waste stream.

Contanes new service provides a cost effective collection and disposal service for small quantities of hazardous waste. Our 60 litre containers are UN approved, lightweight and waterproof and can be stored inside or outside your premises. Tell us when you need your container emptying and we will come and do it. We will even complete the consignment note as part of the service.
